An Introduction to tucancun
tucancun is a Mexican dish made with a fried egg stuffed inside a tomato. This recipe is another example of the “tucan” family of dishes and is probably my favorite one. It is so darn delicious and addicting that it has been eating away at my kitchen like a vampire.
tucancun’s origins and history are not known for sure, but the dish probably originated in the state of Morelos, Mexico. By the time the dish was introduced into the United States and then the rest of Latin America, it had been adapted from its original recipe. It has since become an American staple. For example, in the early 1960s, many people in the United States would get their eggs fried with a slice of ham.
The dish has long been a dish of the South, but as the 1980s and 1990s progressed, the Mexican version started to become quite popular. Now, we’re seeing a proliferation of versions of the dish in other parts of the country, including the Northeast. In the beginning, it wasn’t a great dish, but over the years it has become a real regional favorite. I have no idea where it came from. In the end, it must be from somewhere in Mexico.
It’s actually really good. The best version I have is the one that comes with the ham. It’s the one where you don’t put the cutlet in the center of the plate.
I know it is a little weird to use the word “Mexican” to describe a dish, but I had to do it. The dish is a “taco” which is a traditional dish from southern Mexico. It is usually filled with pork and cheese, with a bit of onion and tomato. It is a very simple dish and it tastes great, but it does have a bite to it. It definitely gets my vote in the best taco dish in America.
It’s also the best taco dish in America. I’m not joking.

He was once a lowly Mexican street vendor, but his fame spread and his taco-eating ability became a way of life.
So in typical tucancunchy fashion, Tico’s fame spread and he became the “taco man,” the man who sells tacos to tourists. He then hires the daughter of a local gangster to help him grow his taco empire into a legitimate business. The story of how Tico met his daughter is told through flashbacks and it is pretty fascinating. It’s almost like watching a film in slow motion.
