On the surface, the barceló maya looks just like anything you’d see in a lavish movie. The rooms are very large, the food is very good, and it has that perfect-feeling “serenity” that you get when you’re in a beautiful place, but it’s really just two hotels in one. At the same time though, it’s a place that has a bad attitude about everything.
