You might think this is a weird dish to give, but it’s just a recipe that I’ve been making for a long time.
This is basically a simple recipe for a classic dish that’s been around since its invention in the 15th century in the town of chic royalton, in the south of France. And yes, there is a lot of science involved in making this dish as I have included all of the ingredients and a lot of research and thought behind it. But what I really love about it is that when I was growing up I knew I needed to know the recipe but I never really did.
I’m the kid that wants a recipe and can make it. I’m the kid that has never made it and so it makes sense to start out with something that looks like a kitchen. To me that’s just the beginning.
So you could be like me, and start out with a great looking dish like this (and my mom said its my favorite) but once you’ve made it, what’s the next step? Well, maybe you could try it out, and see if it works for you. Or maybe you could take it a step further. Maybe you could learn to make it at home, so you can impress your friends and family.
You may have noticed that the recipe for this dish is a little confusing. In truth the dish is a perfect example of a kitchen experiment; one that can bring a variety of results. If you cook it yourself, it can be pretty easy to make it look beautiful in your kitchen. I started out making this dish for my sister’s wedding and it turned out really well. I’m going to try it out this weekend, and see how it goes.
Once you get it down there, it’s a great dish to serve at a dinner party. I like to make it in the microwave, but if you don’t have one, it’s easy to make one in the oven. If you have a large enough pan, you can even put the whole pan in the oven so it cooks in the middle.
I also made it and it was fantastic. It was a good way to use up the last of the leftovers in the fridge.
I could use the extra leftovers for my sisters wedding tonight. I also made it with the leftovers from my last post. I do have some leftover leftovers on my kitchen shelf, so I can probably do that now.
The recipe for cucumber mayo sauce is easy. Just mix 2 Tbl of mayonnaise, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 Tbl of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup of mayo, 1 Tbl of dill pickle relish, 1 cucumber, and 1/2 lb of finely diced celery. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes and then transfer to a blender. Blend until smooth.
After cooking it for 30 minutes, you can add it to the sauce to make it a little thicker. Or until it’s just thick enough to hold water, but not too thick.
