I started this project on a whim. After finding myself in the midst of a really hectic season, I decided to start painting my entire apartment in a different color palette. I figured it would be fun to see where I would end up once I started.

Well, I figured I’d end up with a monolith of a building.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I love the color of mahogany, so I was really looking forward to putting some work into my apartment. I spent a lot of time in this apartment getting it painted in a color I was looking forward to, so I ended up with this rather monolithic look.

The walls were painted in a mix of two different colors, and I had a few areas of floors that were painted in one color and some areas that were painted in another. All of the walls, floors, and baseboards were painted one color. The doors and windows were painted in another color. I used all of my favorite paint colors and shades to create the colors that I wanted. I think the walls are looking really good, but it just looks like black paint.
