I have been wanting to do this for a while now, and I think I have finally found a cottage I am really excited to try out. Well, to be clear, the cottages are not the homes themselves, but they are a pretty good representation of what they can be to you. The cottages are all about the same size, most are located in the cities of Waimea and Kaʻu on the Big Island, and each one has a different style and style of construction.

Waimea is one of those places you walk in and are instantly struck by their design. It’s all white. It’s all flat, and the style is really simple. The cottages are a bit like a modern-day version of the old castle-style homes, with a central living space, multiple bedrooms, and one bathroom. The exterior is done in a very clean, modern style. I would have made the same design choices in a New Hampshire house.
